CONDITION:   E-V+

DESCRIPTION:   Fairly scarce release on Romeo coupling Henderson and Ellington sides from early 1929. Top notch Henderson side - his only recording of "Raisin' The Roof" is taken at a frantic pace with a fine long growl trumpet solo by Rex Stewart and nice Hawkins breaks as well. Ellington side has a discolored spot that swishes lightly at beginning and a few other inaudible spots. Light scuffing. Music clear with quiet surface.
