Gus Arnheim and His Ambassador Hotel Cocoanut Grove Orchestra began their work in the studio with this 1928 Okeh 78 featuring Russ Columbo on vocals and hot fiddle breaks, while roughly at the same time appearing in a Vitaphone short in which this arrangement of "If I Can't Have You"was filmed. Glossy copy with only a few grooves showing light play wear on "Back In Your Own Back Yard".
