Description
78 RPM Lyric aluminum carrying case for 10" 78 records, excellent condition. Very solid case, hinges, latches, and handles are all well attached and work properly. The leather handle is still very strong and handles the weight of the case well (although I never trust just the handle when carrying these heavy records). The case is brown and beige krinkle paint common to the late 1930s, so that is my guess as to the age. The rubber bottom and side protective strips are in place and in great condition. These cases were made to last.
This case contains 40 great old 78 records from the 1920s and 1930s - Victor batwing, Victor Orthophonic VE, Brunswick, Vocalion, Harmony, Decca, even an old Pathe. A lot of hot dance and early jazz records.
