This Martha Copeland race Columbia is notable for "I Can't Give You Anything But Love", from the one session in blues or jazz discographies crediting cornet player Irving Peskin.  Brought in by piano player Rube Bloom, Peskin plays a hot, full chorus solo break during which Copeland, the seasoned blues singer, eggs on this unknown white kid during his moment in the sun.  From the Ken Swerilas collection.
