TITLES: Tin Roof Blues (A) / Leaky Roof Blues
CONDITION: E-V-
DESCRIPTION: The grade of E-V- is due to the record being played on a Victrola that stripped the grooves at the beginning and to a lesser extent at the end. "Tin Roof Blues" plays with noise and distortion for the first 30 seconds, then V+. Henry Lange side plays and looks closer to E after a rough start for 10 seconds. BUT, that Buddy label looks gorgeous, and that is part of the cache here - it wouldn't be difficult to find a better playing copy of the NORK side. Perhaps based on titles coupled here, this Buddy release was marketed to roofers.
