DESCRIPTION: Top notch white country blues by the obscure Paradise Joy Boys, a Dallas duo of Cy Mcnally and Felix St. Clair. Not really rural, primitive or typical citybilly, their take on "Matchbox Blues" has a laid-back, dreamy sound with fiddle and guitar. McNally handles the vocal and nails Blind Lemon's licks while St. Clair adds bluesy fiddle. Nobody sounds quite like this duo and their two pop series Brunswicks are extremely rare. It's possible they were only given regional distribution. Some gloss left with visual wear at beginning and end. From the Ken Swerilas collection.
