Description
For your consideration is a rare vintage 10 inch 78 rpm record of “Charleston” and “Honey I'm In Love With You” by Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra . The definitive version of this iconic 1920s song!
This is in VG+ condition. There’s some very light needle wear on the label when you hold it up to the light. Has some light scuffs and scratches but plays very good on my turntable, clearly listenable over some light surface noise ! A very desirable copy! I’ve also included an original 1920s Victor Records sleeve just like the one this record would have been originally sold in back in 1925.
Keep in mind that for the highest fidelity reproduction results, a correct sized, well maintained stylus should always be used and antique records should also always receive a deep cleaning with a stiff bristled brush and a non-alcohol based soap. I do not provide grading beyond what is required by eBay. If the photographs prove insufficient, do not hesitate to reach out with a question, as well as any other type of inquiry related to an item.
All of our old shellac and vinyl 78 records are packed with utmost care and precaution so as to ensure they arrive to you in the same condition in which they were shipped out. I have over 10 years of experience shipping 78s. For an in depth explanation of my shipping methods, see the bottom of this page. All items will be shipped within 3 days of purchase. All good faith offers thoroughly considered.
All 78 rpm records will be shipped sandwiched between either thick cardboard or some spare 78 rpm discs to provide substantial reinforcement for uneven pressure placed on a package during shipment. The record sandwich is then suspended in an oversized box with packing material on all sides.
