DESCRIPTION:  The first sides to appear under Red Nichols name were these October 1926 hot jazz sides on Edison diamond disc.  Along with Red, Miff Mole, Jimmy Dorsey and a top notch rhythm section of Joe Tarto, Arthur Schutt and Vic Berton burn things up.  Longer play time allows more relaxed, looser soloing on these sides.  Superb Jimmy Dorsey.  From the Ken Swerilas collection.
