Description

Up for auction is a 1952 78 rpm record by Joe Darensbourg & His Flat Out Five with vocal by Scat Man Crothers on Colossal 104. This was made for Hot Rod Magazine. 

 

The sides are Saturday Night Drag Race Part 1 & 2.

 

Deciding to focus on collecting mainly early jazz & blues, I will start thinning out other genres in my collection of 78 rpms. Please click on my current auctions and also check back often to see what else I have dug out and dusted off.

 

Grading Scale

  • NM = near new condition
  • E = barely played, extremely close to near new condition
  • VG = played, but not abused condition, should play very well, may have light scratches, scuffs
  • G = well played, but should play pretty well, will have deeper scratches, scuff; may have some background noise, scratches, scuffs, wear
  • P = well used, pretty bad condition, lots of background noise

This record grades VG- some gloss & good sound. There is some label wear (pen writing and edge wear...see pic)

I will combine shipping for other 78s I am auctioning at just an additional .50 cents each.
