Description
ARTIST: Stripling Brothers
LABEL: Melotone 12181
TITLES: The Lost Child / The Big Footed Nigger In The Sandy Lot
CONDITION: E-V+
DESCRIPTION:
"The Lost Child" by the Stripling Brothers is one of the all time great fiddle / guitar pieces. Recorded in Birmingham, AL on November 15, 1928 at their first session. Wear is more rubbing, handling and scuffs rather than play wear, and music is clear and strong with quiet surface throughout. If I had to choose one grade factoring in how it plays I would call it E-, and E-V+ is on the side of conservative visual grading. Has a small edge chip with is not near grooves on "Big Footed" side and ends at first groove on "Lost Child". No effect on play. Note: Listings for this week will be shipped on August 1.
WAIT FOR SECOND INVOICE - THE ONE NOT AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED BY EBAY IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLOSE OF AUCTION.
