DESCRIPTION:  

Like new copy of very scarce Victor Special 78 - recorded October 17, 1930 in Hollywood by Ted Weems for broadcast just before the November 1930 election in California urging the public to vote against daylight saving time, which was referendum # 7 on the ballot that year.  Sample of lyrics: "in every barnyard things don't go the way they usedta, they move the clock ahead but they can't move the roostah."  The few copies pressed probably never got out of California.  Other side is by the Paramount Publix Studio Orchestra.  Both sides have recorded announcements before and after music.  From the Ken Swerilas collection.
