Choice copy of rare territory jazz buff Bluebird recorded in Atlanta in 1935 -- the only output of the Tom Crowley band. The mysterious "Doc'oligy" is a unique jazz piece with a "Bolero" like rhythm. The melody is first stated on piano, then out of nowhere, reed and brass instruments attack it like yard dogs and exit. The track rolls along with surprises along the way. Nothing quite like it.
