Rare 78 with a Rare label.
Both sides were recorded 100 years ago in March of 1916!!
I have yet to see this record, Nigger Love A Watermelon, Ha! Ha! Ha!, with this Columbia label. Usually it is the traditional Blue and Gold label. There are some very light scuffs / scratches that should not interfere with it's performance. Could use a good cleaning too. Solo - Banjo and Orchestra Accompaniment, Harry C. Browne, Baritone. A-1999 (46634)
The other side is Old Dan Tucker, Solo - Banjo and Orchestra Accompaniment, Harry C. Browne, Baritone. This side is not quite as nice as the other side as it does have a few slightly deeper scuffs and a little piece of the vinyl missing (see photo). Most collectors don't consider this the important side but I thought you ought to know anyway. A-1999 (46644).
