Description
Rare Okeh Electric 78 recorded in San Antonio, Texas in June 1930. The Humphries Brothers, Jess (fiddle) and Cecil (guitar). My understanding is that they released only 4 records for Okeh. I have their first 2 releases and this is the first one:
Okeh 45464 Black and White Rag - Take A-1 St. Louis Tickle - Take A-3
Nice VG+ both sides with decent gloss remaining and only some light superficial marks - no scratches. A side has about 3 short lams at the lead in. A bit rough sounding first 3 grooves or so but cleans up nicely. Minimal noise as played on a vintage Newcomb tube amp phono. Very rare for these to turn up in any condition.
I will combine shipping. Ships Media Mail insured unless you pay extra for another method. I pack professionally in a new sleeve and pressed between 6 pcs. of cardboard, wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a new 12x12x6" box with peanuts. I have successfully shipped this way for many years to many countries with no issues. Returns only if not as described - I must be contacted within 3 days of receipt of any issues (I typically sell with no returns, but because of the rarity I am making an exception).
