78 RPM LABEL: Diva 2826 TITLES: Maui Chimes/ Carolina Moon ARTIST: Frank Ferera Hawaiian trio with Gay Ellis vocal(Annette Hanshaw) CONDITION: N- NOTES- Annette Hanshaw was a favorite vocalist of the mid 1920s-mid 1930s. She sang with many jazz bands, dance bands, Hawaiian bands and straight vocals. She recorded under a variety of pseudonyms such as Gay Ellis, Dot Dare, as well as her own name. Fortunately most of Annette's records were made for the Columbia family of labels which used laminated pressings, so they mostly sound better than they look as the surface wear is diminished by the laminated surface
