Description

Here is a extremely rare vintage 1928 10" 78 RPM single by blues legend BLIND LEMON JEFFERSON,  Christmas Eve Blues / Happy New Year Blues. This early blues relic released 1928 on PARAMOUNT records 12692. This is an original pressing from 1928 and the 16th single by "Lemons" Jefferson who lived from September 24th 1893 to December 19th 1929. he played with Leadbelly and T Bone Walker and is himself the author of many classic blues tunes including: Hangman blues, matchbox blues, Prison blues.easy rider blues and many more. Jefferson released 79 singles between 1925-1929.  The heavy shellac disc rates VG+, is clean and still has gloss, has some light marks and light wear overall, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays great from start to finish! Still an enjoyable listening 78! Light to moderate surface noise probably mostly due to age. (note: this disc has a wide deadwax edge and the needle should be placed accordingly, at the groove) The black and gold labels are in excellent condition! (see photos) Includes vintage plain sleeve! NO Reserve price! Will be shipped in a protective paper sleeve and in a plastic sleeve with bubble wrap, inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number.
