Description
This is the 1947 version of Crosby's "Merry Christmas" album. It contains a different version of "White Christmas" and "Silent Night" than the 1945 version with five discs. The master to White Christmas, which was recorded in 1942 for the movie "Holiday Inn", was so worn by this time that Bing Crosby had to re-record it. This is the first release of the 2nd recording of "White Christmas" which is the one we hear on the radio today.

Both the album cover and all four discs are in VG+ or E condition. The album has minor wear to edges and surface. There are light scratches and scuffs in areas on the discs but this doesn't affect the sound. There is minor noise in general during playback--these discs play well.
