Play-graded using a 1970's BSR record player, 33/45/78 with a stylus for 78 rpm records. 

 

Zonophone Concert Band: College Life (1905)/Cubs on Parade—recorded before July 1908 (according to DAHR).

 

Cubs on Parade is a lively march composed by Hans Hempel in 1907, and dedicated to Cubs manager Frank Chance. It is amongst the first songs, or the first, with the name of a specific team. The Cubs were World Series champions in 1907 and 1908.

College Life is a nice selection, as well.

Brian Coffill has written an admirable analysis of Cubs on Parade.

Light surface wear (scuffs and scratches) to both. Catalogue number in white ink on label of College Life; light needle run on Cubs on Parade.

 V+ light surface noise/fuzziness at times; one can hear the umpire calls (by an unknown individual) on Cubs Life with tolerable distinctness.
