Description
Here we have 5 cased sets containing 32 twelve inch 78 rpm records, these are as follows.
1. Victor label, beethoven concerto number 4 in g major ( for piano & orchestra ) 4 disc set, 16586 - 16589.
2. Hmv label, the mozart opera society, volume eight, 7 disk set, db 2969 - 2975.
3. Hmv label, the mozart opera society, volume seven, 8 disk set, db 2961 - 2968.
4. Victor records, beethoven concerto in d major, heifetz with toscanini and the nbc symphony orchestra, 5 disk set , 17441 - 17445.
5. Parlophone records, beethoven dp47, sonata number nine in a major ( the " kreutzer " sonata ) lili Kraus ( pianoforte ) and simon goldberg ( violin ) 4 disk set, r20478 - 20481.
6. Columbia records, masterworks, greig piano concerto in a minor, eight parts on four records, ignaz friedman pianoforte with orchestra conducted by Philippe gaubert, 4 disc set, 9446 - 9449.
The records are in very good condition, having been always stored in their sleeves and protective cases and just require a light clean before being played, the cases have some wear as you would expect after 80 plus years of storage & use !
