Description
A selection of 75 individual 78rpm shellac records mostly light classical music. There are just too many for me to go through to list the individual Artist, Work, Orchestra and Conductor of each record for the asking price, this box offers amazing content value.
They are all intact and without cracks, the majority are 12" with 8 of them being 10", there is also a box set of 5 records by the linguist A Lloyd James. Each of these disks represents both a time capsule and historical archive, capturing the beauty of these early recordings in gramophone records. They are incredibly atmospheric and a poignant window back into out past. Having sold my own gramophone I can no longer play any of these and would rather past them on to a collector who will look after and enjoy them.
Overall weight is about 35 kg which means shipping will work out at £28, you could collect yourself to save money.
