This is a real mixed bag!!
This could be a good opportunity for a collector to bag a few bargains!!
Mostly 78s of different sizes and a hanful of 45s.
Loads of record sleeves and record labels.
I have no idea of the worth or "collectability" of these records - They are from a loft clearance and i just want to get rid. I can not tell you how they play as I dont have a 78 record player. Some look in good condition others show signs of wear (they are old records after all).
I started to "plough" through them but this got a little tiresome around the 150 mark. :( . I have more to list but couldn't face going through them all in one go. Feel free to contact me about further listings. If you were interested I could "pull my finger out" and get them listed. Especially as it is a local pick up, (due to how fragile, old and HEAVY, they are), and then if you were successful on one or more listings they could be collected at the same time.
As a non-collector I did find the social history side of the record sleeves interesting. This batch contains many old sleeves some of independent record shops, some of the record companies themselves. The photo included was to give an idea of some of the record sleeves and record labels it doesn't show the whole quantity of records that you would be bidding on,the total quantity can be seen in the other shot.,(the green container is NOT included in the sale).
Here are some examples of the sleeves included;
Masters voice, Decca, Rex,Phillips,Regal Zonophone, Braids of Exmuth, Russell Worby,Fulham, Escort Bros, Loughton, Essex, Brunswick, Ivan Veck Portsmouth,Lewis's, Langley, Columbia (blue), Parlophone and of course plenty of the plain brown paper sleeves used at the time,to name but a few.

Alexanders Ragtime Band, Billy Cotton and His Band (Me and my Girl),Jim Dale,Jimmy Shrand and His band, Bing Crosby and John Scott Trotter and his orchestra, Brunswick label, Gracie Fields, Ink Spots (Whispering Grass), Russ Conway, Doris Day, Josef Locke, Vivian Foster, Nelson Eddy, Beverly Sisters, Tommy Steele, Ken Dodd (45rpm), Bachelors (45rpm), Doris Day (45 rpm, special sleeve), Victor Silvestor, The Big Ben Banjo Band, Harriet Colen, Winnie Atwell, The Street Singer -, Arthur Tracey, Lita Roza (That little doggie in the window), Perry Como, Paul Robeson, "Fats" Waller, and his Rhythm band, Charlie Kunz,Johnny Ray, to name but a few included in this lot. Alot of these names mean nothing to me , but hopefully they do to you......
