If you live in the USA, Priority mail is $7.00, media mail is $4.80, and insurance is optional at $1.65 for up to $50 and $2.30 up to $100 worth.  International shipping costs are $16.00 (except Canada which is $8.00).  International insurance is available starting at $1.95.  I am always willing to combine shipping on multiple purchases to save on postage.  I accept checks, money orders, and PayPal.
