Our GRADING for pskorst and bigbillkorst (our sister record ebay names) is  E+ (or NM) rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V,   V- and Poor. strict grading   Packing  We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 5" box. We have had few problems with damage on the many 1000s of records we have shipped so far.

Leon "Skylark" Ketchum - Rainy Sunday at Apollo Harlem 1947 RARE!!! / Jimmy Dale - Where Or When, rough V- to Poor    This c1947 recording on a 12" acetate--I never was able to get with my dad (he passed) for the provenance on this--the labels are the only way to see what this is--I listened to parts of it --its 80% full ---the Leon side the first "track" is blank --this is noisy--thats where I get the V- to Poor on the sound quality, no scratches of any note--just the aging of the material on this, this has some whitening on the surfaces (why I suspect acetate)--I am not sure what this is exactly- it kind of feels like vinyl and a cross with shellac, --I dont know if this was recorded live at the Apollo or is an air check or what--the other side is Jimmy Dale --not sure what NG or ??dark is, anyway this is for someone who has to be pretty sharp about this sort of stuff-- see my 9 photos above to judge the surfaces + labels for yourself.  Graded visually.  Spindle holes and labels have medium wear, handwritten.  Will be in the vintage sleeve it has been stored in for 6-7 decades. Only have 1 of this, obviously--never recorded. This comes from the great bigbillkorst Jazz collection.  Please email with any questions. Buy this now for $24.79.
