Our GRADING for bigbillkorst2 (Jazzy CDs discogs) is E+ (or NM) rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. strict grading Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 14" x 14" x 5" box. We have had few problems with damage on the many 1000s of records we have shipped so far.
78RPM 12" Mercury 8900 Dexter Gordon with Nat King Cole (discogs) - I Found A New Baby / Rosetta, sharp high grade E-to E This rare c1948 legendary Jazz artists 12" 78, I played parts of both sides and thought the Baby side sounded V ish average with background at start then gets better later, Rosetta, sounded clean medium average, overall solid 78 sound, visibly this has 1 fleck /bump in middle of Rosetta side (last photo) -that is the worst flaw on the record (by far) and depending on played could click a couple times (or not), a couple other lighter flecks in the area of the bigger one, those appear they will not affect play, besides that this looks barely to lightly used, real nice shape, looks like another disc my dad got new back in the day (worked at a record store in Chicago), see the photos above to judge the surfaces for yourself. Graded visually. Labels have little to mild wear, hole is fine. Will be in the sleeve it has been stored in for decades. Please email with any questions.
