Rock Around The Clock: The song that started the rock revolution.
"Thirteen Women / Rock Around The Clock" was considered a dud upon
its initial 1954 release in the USA.
After its B-side was used in the movie "Blackboard Jungle" (March 1955),
interest in "Rock Around The Clock" grew exponentially.

It entered the Top 40 on May 14, 1955, and hit #1 on July 9,
where it stayed for 8 weeks.
It returned to the charts in 1974 after appearing in the George Lucas
film "American Graffiti" and as the theme song for the first season
of the American TV sitcom "Happy Days".
