Our GRADING for bigbillkorst2 (Discogs) is E+ (NM) E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 4" box. We have had few problems with damage on the records we have shipped so far.
78RPM Decca 8520 Nat King Cole - Sweet Lorraine (*DIG) E to E- / This Side Up, high-grade EX. This rare c1940 race series record is well-above average E to E- / E condition. This shellac is light wear with few flaws--only 1 flaw of any note. The *DIG (5th and 6th photos above) is on the Sweet Lorraine side near the end at 12pm, I played this spot and it clicked twice and that was it--no big jumps or skips--just a couple clicks. Besides the dig this looks barely to lightly used, just a bit of wear and not very much, see photos above. Labels have little to mild wear. Graded visually.
