Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 5" box. 78RPM Dial 1047 James Moody, Sleep Walker Boogie / Turnip Blood, mild V+ to E- This rare circa 1950 vinylish early bebop 78 record is a V+ to E-, this is mild scattered typical 78 flaws, the worst flaws is probably a just feelable scribbly scratch spot at 4pm on Sleep--the last picture has a close up of that medium type flaw. This has a minor crease line right after that spot of scribbly scratches on Sleep--I played this side with these flaws, the only thing I heard was a few slight clicks to clicks--I believe those clicks were from the scribbly scratch area--the crease line--I did not hear anything--its clean mild everywhere else, see my 12 photos to judge the surfaces for yourself. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have mild wear. Will be in a vintage paper sleeve it has been stored in since my dad got this--probably in the early 50s.
