Our GRADING for pskorst and bigbillkorst (our sister 78 record ebay names) is E+ (or NM) rarely use on 78s, E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 6" box. We have had less then 5 problems with damage on 5800 records shipped so far. Peter
78RPM Grand 1004 Boyd Raeburn, v- Don Darcy, Starlight Avenue / This Must Be Love nice, high grade E to E- fine interior hair fractures (looks like?) This extremely rare (my expert said he searched for this one forever--and that was back in the 1940s-60s) circa 1945-46 (my expert said--this is so rare--you can't even find anything about it) record is in an well kept, above average E to E- this is nice with light to mild wear and few flaws, a , only have 1 of this truly rare Jazz 78. The interior cracks (I think--I am not 100% on this) are basically a shadow lines --the worst or most visible (probably won't see them--there shadowy) are on the This Must Be side at 12, 3 and 8 pm--there are many of these shadow lines which make me wonder what these really are -I would be double if those were not on this--probably will never worsen if it isn't hit--it would crack if it was hit anyway--if you get it-- protect it some--but it seems fine--these do not affect play and are non feelable--. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have light wear. Will be in the heavy paper sleeve it has been stored in for 6-7 decades. See my 7 photos to judge the nice shellac on this for yourself.
