Our GRADING for pskorst and bigbillkorst and bigbillkorst2 (our sister record ebay names) is  E+ (NM) rarely sue on 78s, E, E-, V+, V,   V- and Poor.   Packing  We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 5" box. We have had less then 5 problem with damage on 8800 records shipped so far.  Peter

78RM Mercury TEST UNISSUED Hal Singer, Midnight Ridin' Papa / Rock Around the Clock visually V to V+  play grade "sounded nice"  This vinylish c1950 record my 91 year old dad remembers was something special (just showed him this)-- I had to listen to this and research it a bit to figure out what it actually is--the vintage sleeve said Mercury Test Hal Singer Singer 3718--If you look at the record you can see the #s 3718 and 3719--those are the Matrix #s.  I listened to both sides--and they sounded good ( I am no expert on sound--they didn't skip, didn't do anything--didn't sound too noisy--sounded nice to me--the song was definately Rock Around the Clock (different then the Haley version)--the 3718 side was definatly a vocal song called Midnight Ridin' Papa--the vocalist says stuff like that all the way through it. This is missing the Mercury test labels,  you can see the dried glue where the labels obviously were.  Will be in the heavy vintage paper sleeve it has been stored in for 6-7 decades. This comes from a great old Jazz record collection.  Please email with any questions. I have no clue--I just know this guy is a very important musical artist too.
