Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 4" box. We have had few problems with damage the many 1000s of records we have shipped so far. Peter
78RPM Okeh 41525 Ben Selvin, Tommy Dorsey, solid player V+E-V+ 14 click GOUGE SPOT (not on Dorsey side) / This is The Missus, visibly nice V+ to E- (Dorsey side), I played parts of both sides, the Dorsey side sounded nice medium to me, some background noise, the other side sounded more medium average, the bad spot I played and it clicked hard 14 times--after I doctored it with china grease pencil--might want to avoid that--but it plays through on my mediocre player Manny Klein on It's The Dardest Thing Visibly this is clean (besides gouge SPOT) with a consistent mild to medium wear + few light flaws, nice shape for one of these 1931 depths great depression record--real rare--writing the discogs on this now, no other notable flaws, see my 10 photos to judge the surfaces for myself. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have medium wear. Will be in the vintage heavy sleeve (some of my dads handwriting) it has been stored in for 7 decades.
