Here we have another set of EIGHT great platters of shellac. In this set,you will find red hot jazz,cool smooth jazz and swinging jazz. Each disc plays just lovely,but please note that there is an odd surface mark here and there,but this certainly does not spoil what is a wonderful little handful,and I do sit and listen to each disc before passing it over to another fan/collector. If you are not familiar with some or any of these,just pop into Google and U-Tube to see what you will be getting. Gerry Bright(Geraldo) was a survivor from the danceband/swing days,and here he plays an incredible version of the Duke`s Cotton Tail on this fine 1950s Philips issue. We also have Bing`s brother Bob and his band to give us some great dixieland style jazz and Ted Heath`s band play a great swinging version of Barber Of Seville on blue Decca. If you have not yet heard Marion Hutton with Glenn`s band,you are in for the ultimate treat as she swings on Yes My Darling Daughter. This is a set that must not pass through your fingers.
