78RPM Royal Roost 561 Oscar Pettiford with Charlie Mingus, Ah-Dee-Dong Blues / I'm Beginning to See the Light high grade beauty E+(or NM) to E to E+ (or NM) This rare great circa 1952 vinylish be-bop Jazz record is in high grade, sharp newish looking E+ to E to E+ , this has few visible flaws, glossy looks unplayed--or very rarely played. This is a top notch condition 78 with nothing notable wrong just a few light imperfections on it--Beginning near start 5pm is only visible flaw--some benign looking streaks of line--I don't think it is a stripped groove--doesn't look as if it breaks the shellac--besides that minor thing this is NM-with almost no visible imperfections. Knowing the owner this was bought new or very close to new, played a few times over the last 65 years and stored on a shelf upright at 68 degrees in this vintage heavy sleeve--this is about as good as you can get. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have light wear . Will be in the heavy paper sleeve it has been stored in for the last 5-6 decades. This comes from a great old Jazz record collection.
