Description

This is a VERY, VERY RARE vinyl 78rpm single from DANICE Records/Flap’s Recording Co., Inc., N.Y.C.  “Flap’s…” was owned by Lexy "Flap" Hanford, a bar owner from Harlem, New York, who also owned After Hour Records New York and Chariot Records.

The 10” vinyl is shiny and bright with some small surface smudges that do NOT affect the music at all; VG+. The sleeve is generic.


Probably meant for the juke box, this disc is the original DANICE Records’ cat.# 801, “GLORIA MY DARLING” and “CHA CHA BABY”.  Put the stylus to the run-in groove and the first few notes tell your ears this is real 1950s Doo Wop!
