Description
Very collectable 10” 78rpm shellac disk from 1947 featuring Charles Trenet - Columbia DC415.
Side A: La Mer – Visually EX- with a good shine and a few very minor surface marks. The disk generally plays through very well with just the usual surface noise for a shellac disk of this age but I did notice a couple of slightly more prominent pops around half way through the track.
Side B: De La Fenetre D’en Haut – Condition EX- with a good shine and a few very light surface marks. This side plays through very well with no issues.
Bright, clean labels with no writing. Company sleeve with some wear evident – a split to one side has been mended with tape; there is some discolouring and a couple of very minor tears (see images).
NOTE: Test played on specialist hi-fi equipment with light weight pick-up, not steel needle.
