78rpm HMV Test Pressing BR2848-2 Jack Hylton The Kings Horses 1930 Rare!

After many years of collecting 78rpm records, I am reducing  my collection to more manageable proportionsin preparation for downsizing. Please check my other items!

When collecting, my aim was always to buy E condition or  better when possible. Not all the discs meet that standard but there are many worthwhile discs to interest collectors.

If preferred, buyers can save up to five discs for postingto make a more economical parcel.  I can  post five discs for the same postage price asone!!  Please see my other items as I amalso selling some books generally related to the subject of 78s and the musicfrom the 78 era. 

Description: Many years ago, Jack Hylton's record collection came up for sale as individual records.  This is one of Jack's own.  It is not the issued take according to Rust's book.  Unusual in that it was recorded while on tour in Blackpool.  Such a shame that the dealer who sold off the records stuck that ugly label on.  Could maybe be carefully soaked off?  This single-sided record is rare and quite possibly unique.

Record condition: Please refer to pictures. Plenty of sheen and just a few light marks.

Sleeve condition: Please refer to pictures.  Period card sleeve with catalogue number etc written on.

Due to increasing postage and packaging costs, I have had toslightly raise my postage and packing charge to offset these costs.
