Description
Rare 10” 78rpm shellac disk from Jack Payne and his BBC dance orchestra: Hunting Tigers Out In India / Day By Day – Columbia CB151 released in 1930.
Hunting Tigers Out In India: Visually EX- with a great shine and just a couple of light marks – one of these sounds with a little pop for two revolutions but is not too distracting. Other than that, it plays through very well.
Day by Day: Visually EX with a great shine and no discernible markings. A few feint clicks noticeable at the very beginning and a couple of other places, but nothing too prominent and generally plays through very well for a disk of this age.
Bright clean labels with no writing. Company sleeve in good condition – no writing but a short split down one side and a little creasing.
NOTE: Test played on specialist hi-fi equipment with light weight pick-up, not steel needle.
The item will be packed securely in layers of bubble wrap and thick card to prevent damage in transit. The postage cost includes packing materials and insurance.
