Description

Highly collectable 78rpm 10” shellac Christmas disc released 1944 featuring Judy Garland. Both tracks are from the film “Meet me in St Louis”. UK Brunswick label 03572.

A.   HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS: Condition is VG- (borderline VG)  Condition is visually VG with some surface marks and light scratches but it plays through with just the usual shellac surface noise, no prominent clicks. However, I've graded it VG- overall as there is some noticeable distortion on some of the louder vocal notes.

B.   MEET ME IN ST LOUIS: Condition is visually VG-  with some surface marks and scratches a couple of which do sound briefly in a couple of places, but not too prominently. There is some distortion on the loud passages – more noticeable on this side than the A side.There is a very small chip on the very edge of this side, but this doesn't affect play.

Bright, clean labels with no writing. Supplied in an original paper company sleeve with a couple of minor tears (one on the side has been repaired repaired with tape) and some creasing - see images.

NOTE: Test played on specialist hi-fi equipment with light weight pick-up, not steel needle.
