Description
Bundle of three rock ‘n roll 78rpm 10" shellac records. All have been test played on specialist hi-fi equipment with light weight pick-up, not steel needle. All sides play through very well with a good, bright sound and minimal surface noise, see details of each disk below.
Disk 1. Elvis Presley – All Shook Up / That’s when your heartaches begin on HMV label POP359.
SIDE A: All Shook Up – VG+ with a good shine, but there are some light surface marks and small light scratches but this side plays through very well indeed, like an EX.
SIDE B: That’s when your heartaches begin – Visually VG+ with a good shine, but there are some light surface marks and small light scratches. As this track is quieter than the A side, there is a little more surface noise noticeable, but this is feint and brief. The most noticeable noise is a few clicks on the run-in but these stop before the track begins.
Both labels have some feint biro writing on the HMV ‘Nipper’ logo
Supplied in an HMV paper sleeve in very good condition with no splits or tears, but there are two prices written in pen top left on the front (see images).
Disk 2. Bill Haley and his Comets – Happy Baby / Dim Dim the Lights on gold Brunswick label, 05373
Both sides VG+ with some light surface marks and a few light scratches but both sides play through very well. Clean labels with no writing. Supplied in a plain brown sleeve in excellent condition with no tears, splits or writing.
Disk 3. Wee Willie Harris – Rockin’ at the Two I’s / Back to School Again on Decca label, F10970.
The disk still has a good shine, but there are some surface marks and light scratches. Both sides play through well with just the usual feint surface noise. Labels are bright and clean with no writing.
Supplied in a robust card sleeve in good condition with no splits or tears, but there is a label on one side to identify the disk (see image).
The disks will be packed securely in layers of bubble wrap and thick card to prevent damage in transit. The postage cost includes packing materials. Please leave feedback once your item arrives; this lets me know it has arrived safely and I will then give you feedback. If the disk arrives damaged, please let me know before you provide feedback and send a picture of the damage – I can usually arrange a refund.
