Description
Hello everyone,
I'm auctioning 25 JAZZ 78rpm records. This is one of several lots of a similar nature following a clear out at home.
The titles, hopefully, can be read from the photos. The artists are Art Hodes, Jelly Roll Morton, Mead Lux Lewis, Pete Johnson, Big Joe Turner, Albert Ammons, Tony Parenti, Charles Norman, Flickery Flies with Britt Nilsson, Fats Waller, Beale St Washboard Band, Johnny Dodds, Pierre Spiers, Jose Iturbi, Chicago Rhythm Kings, Bob Wilber, Pete Daily, Mutt Carey and Errol Garner.
Some sides have only a very few marks, all non-sounding but the majority have more. This does not mean that the sound quality is compromised. They all play very well and considering they are 60, 70 and even more years old, they play and sound very enjoyable indeed.
