Description

From a prestigious large estate in an affluent suburb of Detroit comes this IMMACULATE collection original early Mercury Living Presence Stereo lps. 
In 30 years of buying and selling records this is the finest grouping of these coveted Mercury Stereo classical records I have come across.  The man who owned them was an automotive executive back in the 50's and 60's and was really into listening to reel to reel tapes.  So he basically committed these to tape and put them away.  I considered selling them individually, and if they don't sell as a grouping I still may.  However, I decided to put an attractive price on the group, in the hopes that the buyer would want TOP copies of each example, even if they owned a nice title or two already. 

VINYL is NEAR MINT MINUS on each lp. I inspected them closely and sample tested each on my Denon dp75 turntable.  They are gorgeous and play clean and clear.  Each looks like it was played once and put away 50 years ago. I could only find one small scuff on the 16 sides...and that one did not affect playback at all. 

ULTRASONIC CLEANED -- I just cleaned each lp on my new Ultrasonic Record cleaner, and put it in a fresh sleeve.  It really does make a difference in the sound quality....it gets rid of stuff other methods just can't tackle....I am hooked!  Ready to enjoy for years to come.

COVERS are mostly NEAR MINT as well.  I can see an occasional corner bump, but that is about it. Each jacket has the COLOR BACK designating the early pressing.  And each lp also has its ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE. 
All in all, a fantastic archive collection!
