Rudolph Valentino's only known sound recordings are the 1923 78 rpm records featuring "The Kashmiri Song" and "El Relicario," recorded for Brunswick Records. These rare recordings, showcasing his soft Italian accent, were made shortly before his death and are highly prized by collectors as the only surviving audio of his voice.
The passing of Michael Back, a world-renowned Rudolph Valentino and silent movie collector and historian. His daughter now faces the task of selling off his extensive collection, including iconic Valentino items, silent movie actor pieces, and other Hollywood memorabilia that the couple had passionately acquired over the decades. We have 100s of Type 1 Hollywood 8x10s that we will be auctioning off through the winter.
