Mariya Takeuchi, Taeko Onuki, and EPO were RCA Records newcomer artists at the time. The song was used in Shiseido Cosmetics' 1983 spring campaign commercial. After the Shiseido campaign ended, the song was used 8 times in commercials for other companies, and is still being used as a commercial song for McDonald's Japan in 2023, 40 years after its release. The chorus features EPO, Taeko Onuki, and Yasuhiro Abe. The guitar solo is by Kenji Omura.

The song has a timeless pop sound that is full of the excitement of spring and the full throttle of the 80s!
