80s Metal 12" PICTURE DISC LPs Mama's Boys, Dio, & Quiet Riot Get ALL Three

Coming up on its FORTIETH birthday, Quiet Riot's debut album 'Metal Health' is considered the first heavy metal album to top the Billboard's Top 200 albums chart! Released in 1983, the album was dedicated to the memory of former Quiet Riot guitarist Randy Rhodes. Since the album came out, we also lost singer Kevin DuBrow, and drummer Frankie Banali. (RIP to all three of you. You guys were amazing musicians, and lit the spark that became 80s heavy metal!) 'Metal Health' is the first of a THREE PACK of 80s metal picture disc LPs up for grabs today!

Second up is a rather obscure Irish 80s hair metal called Mama's Boys. The band consisted originally of three brothers (Pat, Tommy, and John McManus), and this album was released in 1985, and called 'Power and Passion'. Mama's Boys also had a (minor) hit with a Slade remake, the "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" stomp rocking hit, in 1985. Of course, Quiet Riot also had a hit with that Slade remake, (their second Slade remake). The Runaways, with Joan Jett and Lita Ford, remade "Mama" also.

Third up in this 80s metal triple shot of pic discs is Dio. Now this is recent, but the actual music on here is from 1987! From the album 'Dream Evil', it's the live versions of "Dream Evil" and "Naked in the Rain", both live from Donington! They used artwork from merchandise sold at Dio concerts in the 80s, and was a 2020 Record Store Day release. Vintage 80s metal recording on a modern day picture disc!

The Dio pic disc is still all shiny and clean! Bought new but never played. The jacket was never sealed, but rest assured, it's never seen a turntable! (I never play specialty viny such as pic discs or colored records.) In its original PVC jacket with price and hype stickers. The other two pic discs are from the 80s, so coming up on 40 years old. Sound quality is probably bad, as pic discs from that era usually do sound terrible, with plenty of surface noise. That's also very light scratches on the older two. Nothing TOO bad, and hardly noticeable.
