RARE: Clout & Baker Sleeve
(Professionally cleaned with a Pro-Ject VC-S MkII VAcuum Record Cleaner)
1/1 MOTHERS
Released first in the USA on the 30th of July 1965 and then released in the UK a few months later on the 24th of September 1965, it reached number 1 in the US, but only number 2 in the UK charts.
It is a mish-mash of recordings, riding high after their 'Satisfaction' success. Unusually, the US album included the tracks 'The Last Time' and 'Satisfaction' but within the couple of months between the US release and UK release, The Stones added different exclusive songs to their UK release, dropping the two above.

SOUNDS SUPERB!!
There are only very light marks to the vinyl, but not deep at all. After cleaning her I just had the utter joy of playing her all the way through....still has all the raw power of The Stones in '65, but also sounds crystal clear!
Right at the start of track 1, side 1, there is a tiny skip-nothing terrible at all.
Quiet inbetween tracks and barely any background noise throughout-hard to notice any when the tracks are playing.
Flat as the day she was born.
Flat & heavy vinyl.
Right now she has QUALITY BASS and is incredibly clear throughout.
WOW-put her on yer decks and turn her RIGHT UP!!..I did :)

Lovely deep red UNBOXED DECCA labels. Spindle marks visible as well as a small name to side 1. Deep, crisp and clear groove.
Would frame well.

It is the harder to find EARLY Clout & Baker cover!
Nice laminated cover. There are some small crescents of spidering to the laminate, certainly nothing to detract from is wonderful shimmer.
EXCELLENT strong spine.
There is a slight mark of light staining to the top of the back card, but again...nothing bad at all.
A very nice example that has made it through the wild parties of the 60's ;-)

ORIGINAL DECCA Plastic lined STARRED inner "Made In England" with some creasing, a tiny tear to the paper near one of the windows.

Certainly done her job in keeping the record very well preserved.
