Released first in the USA on the 30th of July 1965 and then released in the UK a few months later on the 24th of September 1965, it reached number 1 in the US, but only number 2 in the UK charts.
It is a mish-mash of recordings, riding high after their 'Satisfaction' success. Unusually, the US album included the tracks 'The Last Time' and 'Satisfaction' but within the couple of months between the US release and UK release, The Stones added different exclusive songs to their UK release, dropping the two above.

SOUNDS GREAT!!
There are many light marks to the vinyl, but not deep at all. After cleaning her I just had the joy of playing her all the way through....still has all the raw power of The Stones in '65.
The most noticeable flaw visually is a slight 'dimple' to the vinyl at the very outer edge...My stylus played over both sides of this without a problem...I just found a gentle revolutionary shhh in the run ins, but when the music got going I didn't even notice it. There was only very occasional and light background noise throughout the rest of the album.
QUALITY, RICH AUDIO.
Quiet inbetween tracks.
Flat as the day she was born.
Flat & heavy quality vinyl.
Right now she has QUALITY BASS and is very clear throughout.
WOW-put her on yer decks and turn her RIGHT UP!!..I did :)

Lovely deep red UNBOXED DECCA labels. Light spindle marks visible, but only when angled towards the light and looking for them. Deep, crisp and clear groove.
NO WRITING.
Would frame well.

Nice laminated cover. There are some crescents of spidering to the laminate, certainly nothing to detract from is wonderful shimmer.
Lovely strong spine.
There is a mark of where there once was tape to the top of the back card, but nothing bad at all. Next to it is a strip of masking tape which has a name written on it...possible to remove..?
The opening is a little feathered
A very nice example that has made it through the wild parties of the 60's ;-)

ORIGINAL DECCA Plastic lined STARRED inner "Made In England" with only some light creasing.
Wonderful.
