Description
Nice 8 album lot of US and Germany pressings from King Crimson with RARE Polydor Records version (Germany) of "The Young Person's Guide to King Crimson" album.
1. "In the Court of Crimson King - An Observation by King Crimson" (1969) - Atlantic Records SD 8245 - 1st pressing w/1841 Broadway address.
The gatefold cover is VG+ with slight spine wear, shelf and corner wear, but NO seam splits. The vinyl is VG, NO deep marks.
2. "In the Wake of Poseidon" (1970) - Atlantic SD 8266 - 1st US pressing w/1841 Broadway. The gatefold cover is NM minus (NM-) with slight spine and corner wear. The vinyl is VG+.
3. "Islands" (1972) - Atlantic SD 7212 - 1st US pressing w/1841 Broadway. The gatefold cover is NM-, the vinyl is NM- with only two or three hairline scuffs from inner sleeve.
4. "Larks' Tongues in Aspic" (1973) - Atlantic SD 7263 - 1st US pressing w/1841 Broadway. The cover is NM, the vinyl is stunning NM. Awesome copy!
5. "Red" (1974) - Atlantic SD 18110 - 1st US pressing. The cover is NM, still in shrink. The vinyl is NM-.
6. "The Young Person's Guide to King Crimson" (1981) - Polydor 2625 035 (Germany). This is 2-LP's album.
The laminated gatefold cover is NM. The vinyls are NM-/NM. NO booklet.
7. "Discipline" (1981) - Warner Bros. BSK 3629 - 1st US pressing. The cover is NM-, the vinyl is NM.
8. "Beat" (1982) - Warner Bros. 23692 - 1st US pressing. The cover is NM-, the vinyl is NM.
All in all this is awesome lot of King Crimson LP's. There are NO seam splits, NO writing, NO tears, NO cutout marks, NO tape on the covers, NO feelable marks on the records, and NO writing or stickers on the labels.
Grading is visual and based on the Goldmine standards: NM/NM-/VG+/VG/VG-/G. NM is my highest grade for an opened LP.
LP's will be shipped in sturdy cardboard box in poly outer sleeves, the records outside of the covers to protect covers from possible damage in transit.
