Description

Here's an original 8" x 10" early 1940's publicity photo of trumpeter Pete Candoli, then about 20 years old and with Teddy Powell's orchestra.  He signed it later in life, in felt tip pen.
See him on television here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRW0puAJZ7A.  When he was with Woody Herman, he sometimes came to front of the band in a Superman outfit to hit those high notes (see last two pictures, grabbed from the web).
This photo is in excellent condition.  It is a well detailed image, but my scans don't do it justice.  The back is unmarked except for a tiny bit of writing in pencil.  Please excuse the glare and shadows in the auction scans.
