Description
This lot contains nine 10-inch 78 RPM records, all on the Columbia label, and all by Frank Sinatra on at least one side. All nine records showed up for the first picture, then they are shown individually, both sides, in the following order:
Columbia # 37809 - "Christmas Dreaming" and "The Stars Will Remember."
Columbia # 36947 - "Full Moon and Empty Arms" and "You Are Too Beautiful."
Columbia # 36774 - "What makes the Sunset?" and "I Begged Her."
Columbia # 36854 - "Don't Forget Tonight Tomorrow" and "Lily Belle."
Columbia # 38163 - "All of Me" and "I Went Down to Virginia."
Columbia # 38446 - "Some Enchanted Evening" and "Bali Ha'i."
Columbia # 35587 - "Flash" by Harry James and his Orchestra; and "All or Nothing at All" (by Frank Sinatra with Harry James and his Orchestra).
Columbia # 36756 - "White Christmas" and "If You Are But a Dream."
Columbia(UK) # D.B.3347 - "Hello, Young Lovers" and "I Whistle a Happy Tune.
Visually, the records fall broadly within or close to the VG+ range, still nice and shiny and not a lot of visible surface wear of any great significance. They all play through without any skips or jumps on my Audio-Technica turntable, and mostly just typical light background noise, with some scattered clicks or pops or passages of swishing or ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment. Please also check the pictures for any label damage or inscriptions or stickers.
