Description

For sale are nine rare and collectible Beatle albums some of which you may have never seen before.

1) Sessions - This is a compilation of unreleased Beatle tunes that was scheduled for release in 1985, but was apparently cancelled at the last minute by Yoko Ono. It`s a shame, for this would have been a truly interesting collection of rare material, unlike the somewhat disappointing "Rarities" album from 1980. Instead, most of this material didn`t show up until the "Anthology" recordings of the mid-1990`s. Glossy red, white and blue cover is in excellent condition and features informative liner notes on the back by Brian Southall. "Factory Sample - Not For Sale" is printed on back. Vinyl grades visually at mint minus. Includes : Come and Get It // Leave My Kitten Alone // Not Guilty // I`m Looking Through You // What`s The New Mary Jane ? // How Do You Do It ? // Besame Mucho // One After 909 // If You`ve Got Troubles // That Means A Lot // While My Guitar Gently Weeps (acoustic version) // Mailman, Bring Me No More Blues // Christmas Time Is Here Again.

2) Sessions - Different version (white cover), same song line-up. Cover is mint minus with a small seam split. Vinyl near mint. Nice red and white Odeon label.

3) Casualties - Features alternate versions of well know songs. Cover is an outtake from the "Baby Butcher" photo sessions (and grades a strong VG+, with a little bit of ring wear). Vinyl is mint minus. Silver and black Capitol label. Songs : Please Please Me // I Want To Hold Your Hand // Money // A Hard Day`s Night // I`ll Cry Instead // Ticket To Ride // Yes It Is // Day Tripper // I`m Only Sleeping // Strawberry Fields Forever // I Am The Walrus // Only A Northern Song // Revolution // Her Majesty // Let It Be.

4) The Beatles In Italy - Nice compilation album released in Italy. Champagne cover is mint minus. Vinyl a strong VG+. Silver and black Parlophone label. Includes : Long Tall Sally // She`s A Woman // Matchbox // From Me To You // I Want To Hold Your Hand // Ticket To Ride // This Boy // Slow Down // I Call Your Name // Thank You Girl // Yes It Is // I Feel Fine.

5) Not Guilty - Another collection of alternates, outakes and early TV shows. Handsome glossy "umbrella" cover is mint minus (as is vinyl). Includes : Not Guilty // Rain // You`re Going To Lose That Girl // Let It Be // Paperback Writer // Rain (2nd version) // Rain (3rd version) // We Love You Beatles // Twist & Shout // Roll Over Beethoven // I Wanna Be Your Man // Long Tall Sally // Medley:Love Me Do;Please Please Me;From Me To You;She Loves You;I Want To Hold Your Hand // Can`t Buy Me Love // Shout.

6) Get Back - This is actually the "Let It Be" album before Phil Spector got his hands on it. Attractive cover claims it`s on both Apple and Parlophone !  Nice snowy white vinyl. Excellent condition all around.

7) Sgt. Pepper - Alternate versions of tunes from the famous album. Fittingly, cover shot is an outake from the photo session for the famous cover (different pose). Cover has some ring wear at the top, otherwise quite nice. Vinyl shiny mint. Silver & black Parlophone label.

8) Collector`s Items - Another collection of alternate takes issued 1979. Colorful cover features a nifty collection of Fab Four collectibles, and is in near mint condition. Vinyl is near mint with silver and purple Capitol label. Features : Love Me Do // From Me To You // Thank You Girl // All My Loving // This Boy // Sie Liebt Dich // I Feel Fine // She`s A Woman // Help ! // I`m Down // Penny Lane // Baby, You`re A Rich Man // I Am The Walrus // The Inner Light // Across The Universe // You Know My Name (Look Up The Number).

9) Very Together - Canadian release on Polydor features very early Beatles in Hamburg 1961 with Tony Sheridan. VG+ condition cover features 4 black candles, one of which has been blown out and is smoking. This was believed by some to represent Paul McCartney, who was rumoured to have died around the time this was issued (1969). Vinyl rates a VG+ with red Polydor label.

Conservative grading. Use calculator for shipping. This collection originally cost me a total of about $310.
