In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The legendary FREE guitarist Paul Kossoff’s first proper band, The Black Cat Bones, were a late 60s heavy blues/psych group which also featured future Free drummer Simon Kirke (while this LP also includes the like of Leaf Hound’s Derek and Stuart Brookes, along with Free vocalist Paul Rogers). The Black Cat Bones were well-known on the live circuit and acted as a house band for many visiting US outfits, while also supporting Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green. This 3-LP set features Kossoff’s earliest known works, including rehearsals with the Black Cat Bones in London in 1967.
The lo-fi raw sound quality may turn some collectors off, yet those same fans will listen with glee when they hear Kossoff’s fiery jams within the six sides....top of his game.
The mighty three record set contains the earliest known recordings by Paul Kossoff, whose tragic death in 1976 robbed the Rock world of one of its finest-ever Blues guitarists. Taped at rehearsals with Black Cat Bones in London in 1967, the raw, lo-fi tracks find teenager Paul Kossoff already a master of his instrument. Accompanied by musicians including Derek and Stuart Brookes (later to form the legendary Leaf Hound), and featuring a guest appearance from Paul Rodgers (later to form Free with Kossoff), the recordings are of considerable historical importance. They are released here for the very first time, along with a booklet featuring rare photographs, full liner notes and an introduction from the bands drummer, Frank Perry, making the album an essential purchase for all serious hardrock & psych fans...
